Chartway Credit Union is hiring a Collector in Virginia Beach to support the Collections Manager in processing delinquent accounts, obtaining past due payments, and setting up repayment plans. The role involves ensuring compliance with FDCPA and internal policies while maintaining professional communication with members.
The position requires at least 2 years of collections experience and a high school diploma or GED.
Hiring Range: $20 - $22 per hour
(Higher compensation may be considered based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity)

The Collector is responsible to the Collections Manager/Supervisor for the efficient processing of assigned accounts. Contacts members delinquent members and obtain past due payments, commitment agreements, establish a repayment plan, or make recommendations to mitigate the Credit Union loss.
