Job summary

M&T Bank Germantown is seeking a branch-based sales and service professional to identify customer needs and deliver proactive basic sales solutions through outreach, onboarding, and referrals. You will drive relationship management, conduct pre-call planning, manage appointments, and ensure compliance with KYC, CIP, and audit requirements.

The role supports branch goals, enhances the customer experience, and promotes the Bank’s products and services in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years proven retail sales, call center, customer service or telesales experience.
• Or high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year proven proactive sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Well-organized with time management and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated financial services product knowledge.
• Bilingual English and second language ability per assessment.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Notary license may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Play key role in Relationship Management, sales process and risk management.
• Perform profile research to identify value-add opportunities for clients.
• Identify financial needs and present product/service options with internal partners.
• Proactively contact clients via email or phone to educate on offerings.
• Onboard new customers and schedule appointments.
• Maintain compliance with KYC, CIP, audit requirements and risk controls.
• Promote M&T Bank brand and foster client trust in branch interactions.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
