Job summary

Training Wheels ABA in Austin, TX is seeking an active Texas SLPA to provide direct speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP. You will implement treatment plans, collect data, and document sessions across clinic and in-home environments.

Join a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with SLPs, BCBAs, RBTs, and families to support meaningful communication, caregiver education, and client-centered progress.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license.
• Experience with children, preferably with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Interest in collaborating with ABA teams in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, flexible and proactive approach to supporting clients and families.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work in clinic and in-home environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Implement treatment plans and therapy programs developed by the supervising SLP.
• Collect session data and maintain timely, accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with SLPs, BCBAs, RBTs, and families to support communication goals across environments.
• Assist with caregiver education and carryover strategies as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, client-centered culture.
• Support meaningful communication development that improves each child's independence and quality of life.
