Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a bilingual SLPA to provide pediatric speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities across Texas. The role requires an active Texas SLPA license and at least six months of full-time clinical experience, with pediatric exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patient's home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP per Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by educational opportunities and professional engagement.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by ownership of new tasks and adding value.
