Qualifications

• Candidates must hold NYS permanent certification as Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Teacher of Speech and Language Disabled with a bilingual extension.
• NYs licensure/registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• ASHA CCC is preferred; familiarity with ASHA Scope and Practice guidelines and Medicaid/regs is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform observations and consultations.
• Administer Speech-Language evaluations.
• Complete Frontline IEP input.
• Write reports for the CSE.
• Assist in developing and implementing IEPs.
• Input Medicaid billing data.
• Attend CSE meetings.
• Consult with other professionals, vendors, parents, and staff.
