Family of Kidz invites a Bilingual Pediatric Speech Therapist/Evaluator to join our team for preschool-age children, evaluating and supporting CPSE needs in Islandia and Riverhead. Flexible hours, fee-for-service or full-time options, and competitive bilingual evaluation compensation apply.

The role requires NYS licensure as an SLP, CCC-SLP, and NYSED TSSLD/TSHH, plus at least one year working with children and families. English/Spanish bilinguals preferred and valued.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• NYSED Certifications: TSSLD or TSHH.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children and families.
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for your caseload.
• Administer and write up speech and language evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors and coordinators related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedule with assigned families and school personnel.
• Collect data on IEP/IFSP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations in clinic, home, and/or preschool settings.
• Write detailed speech and language evaluation reports.
• Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and the evaluation team.
• Develop functional goals using IEP direct.
