Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy to middle school students in a district setting. The contract runs through the 2026–2027 school year with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week and options for part-time arrangements.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and serve students across potentially multiple schools. The role requires Illinois SLP licensure, CCC certification, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement required.
• Current Illinois SLP license required.
• CCC certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.
• Experience in school settings, ideally middle school, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in groups.
• Manage a caseload averaging around 45 students as per state workload guidelines.
• Participate in assessment, intervention planning, IEP meetings, and progress monitoring.
• Document services and maintain accurate records; communicate with faculty, families, and caregivers.
• Deliver culturally responsive therapy, supporting bilingual needs of students.
• Potentially serve multiple schools depending on assignment.
