W.E. Beaty is seeking a bilingual Residential Flatwork Foreman to lead our slabs and driveways crew in Indianapolis, IN.

This role supervises daily site operations, ensures safety, quality workmanship, and on-time completion while coordinating with truck drivers and suppliers. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of residential concrete flatwork, strong leadership, and ability to communicate in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Residential Flatwork Foreman to lead our Slabs & Driveways crew. This individual will oversee daily job site operations, lead and develop crew members, ensure quality workmanship, and help deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Position Summary

The Bilingual Residential Flatwork Foreman is responsible for supervising a residential concrete crew, managing daily job site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely and on schedule, and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship. This position requires strong leadership skills, residential flatwork experience, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

JOB DUTIES:

• Lead and supervise a residential concrete crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
• Drive a company truck and transport crew members, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Read and interpret residential blueprints, plot plans, site plans, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate concrete deliveries and communicate with concrete truck drivers.
• Monitor crew productivity, workmanship, and safety throughout the day, providing coaching and direction as needed.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting effective communication and cooperation among team members.
• Cultivate a culture of safety among your teams, enforcing adherence to all relevant safety regulations, providing training, and ensuring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Oversee job site during adverse weather conditions, making the necessary adjustments to ensure job site progress.
• Address and resolve on‑site issues promptly, coordinating with crews to minimize downtime and ensure continuity.
• Maintain company trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment in clean and serviceable condition.
• Complete required daily paperwork, vehicle inspections, and production reports.
• Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Must possess a For-Hire Endorsement or be willing to obtain one.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of residential concrete flatwork experience.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a concrete crew.
• Experience with residential slabs, driveways, patios, and sidewalks.
• Proficient with lasers, levels, string lines, and job layout.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be eligible to drive company vehicles and remain insurable.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 75 pounds.
