Job summary

CEC Companies in Irving, TX is seeking a recruiter to source, recruit, and hire skilled field employees such as electricians and apprentices. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish and excels in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

You will manage full-cycle recruiting, source candidates, conduct screenings, coordinate hiring decisions, and support onboarding and reporting. Experience with ATS and building candidate pipelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years recruiting experience in construction or skilled trades.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle recruiting for field positions including electricians, apprentices, and skilled labor.
• Source candidates through job boards, referrals, community outreach, trade schools, and industry networks.
• Conduct candidate screenings, schedule interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions with hiring managers.
• Build strong relationships with field employees, hiring managers, and key stakeholders to understand staffing needs.
• Attend job fairs, community events, and workforce programs to promote career opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
• Partner with HR to support onboarding, new hire orientations, and workforce integration.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations during recruitment processes.
• Maintain accurate records in the ATS and provide hiring reports as needed.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.Requires mobility within an office environment. Regularly required to talk and hear.
