Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking an Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive recruitment for craft and leadership roles in our Indiana markets. You will screen, interview and present top active and passive candidates while coordinating offers through the ATS.

Bring bilingual English/Spanish skills, strong communication and relationship-building to this onsite role, with travel up to 25% locally and a focus on timely, high-quality hires aligned with our core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications, business or construction management or 3+ years recruiting experience in the construction trades.
• 2+ years previous experience in construction recruiting preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support the Talent Acquisition Partner and Lead in executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
• Source, screen, interview and present candidates for exempt positions, craft electricians and field leadership.
• Prepare and send offers for approval through the ATS as needed.
• Participate in workforce planning meetings to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
• Engage local community partnerships with educational institutions and professional associations.
• Facilitate employee onboarding and regular check-ins throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support the Talent Acquisition Partner and Talent Acquisition Lead in executing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
• Source, screen, interview and present highest performing active and passive candidates for exempt positions, craft electricians and field leadership.
• Prepare and send offers for approval through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as needed.
• Participate in regular workforce planning meetings with Talent Acquisition Partners and Talent Acquisition Lead to best understand new staffing needs for your location, current open job requisitions, and critical hiring needs.
• Builds meaningful and productive local community partnerships: Educational Institutions, Community Organizations, Professional Associations, Recruitment Events.
• Facilitates employee check-ins to ensure highest performing quality throughout the candidate and employee lifecycle.
• Conducts regular onboarding for new employees as needed.
• Travel up to 25% within local markets.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Communications, Business or Construction Management OR 3+ years of recruiting experience in the construction trades
• 2+ years previous experience in construction recruiting preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish Speaking preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong relationship building and networking abilities.
