Job summary

TSNE/_Worker’s Justice Project seeks a Site & Safety Training (SST) Trainer for on-call work in New York City. Training bilingual sessions in English and Spanish will cover 10-hour SST and 8-hour Refresher courses for immigrant construction workers, under DOB and CP077 guidelines.

Applicants must hold active DOB/OSHA trainer credentials, be able to work weekends, and contribute to program development and reporting for funders and regulators.

Qualifications

• Active DOB/OSHA-authorized Construction Trainer in good standing.
• Aptitude to deliver bilingual trainings in English and Spanish.
• Experience with low-wage workers and immigrant communities.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 10-hour SST and 8-hour Refresher trainings in English and Spanish per DOB requirements.
• Maintain DOB CP077 status and complete sign-in/out and completion records.
• Educate participants about WJP programs and worker rights.
• Identify potential worker leaders for CWU follow-up.
