Job summary

PCI is seeking a Site Safety Professional for its Atlanta, GA operations. The role focuses on promoting safe work practices, administering the Accident Prevention Plan, and ensuring timely safety documentation on jobsites and at the branch.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction safety, is bilingual, holds OSHA 30 and OSHA 510, and can spend most days in the field supporting 15+ crafts. This safety-sensitive position requires a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction safety.
• Must be bilingual and effectively communicate with diverse teams.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications are required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal communication skills with stakeholders.
• Fall Protection & Confined Space Training completed.
• Self-starter willing to take initiative.
• Oversight for at least 15 crafts in the field.
• Can spend 80% of time in the field with craft.
• Expect 50–60 hour work weeks.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety reports and documentation are submitted on time per client requirements.
• Collaborate with site safety manager to develop and implement safety policies; monitor effectiveness.
• Investigation and evaluation of injuries/illnesses for the project site.
• Represent PCI as safety advocate with a professional, positive attitude.
• Build positive relationships with trades, vendors, coworkers and customers to maximize effectiveness.

PCI is seeking aSite Safety Professional for itsAtlanta, GAoperations. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:

Job responsibilities include:

• Promote safe work practices and behaviors to instill an injury-free culture among all site and field personnel


• Assist with the administration of PCI’s Accident Prevention Plan, policies, and procedures, on jobsites and at the branch through utilization of safety resources such as training and mitigation of unsafe practices.


• Ensure company and client safety reports and documentation are submitted on time and in accordance with client requirements and expectations


• Collaborate with site safety manager and field to develop and implement safety policies and procedures as necessary; monitor for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement when necessary.


• Responsible for investigation and evaluation of injuries and illnesses for the project site


• Convey a professional and positive attitude as the safety representative of PCI


• Create and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co-workers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.

This position is safety-sensitive.

Basic Requirements

• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in construction safety


• Must be bilingual


• Must have OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certification


• Must be at least 18 years old


• Displays strong verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively convey information to employees, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders


• Previous Fall Protection & Confined Space Training.


• Motivated self-starter willing to take initiative.


• Must have provided safety oversight for a minimum of 15 craft in the field.


• Capable of spending 80% of daily time in the field with craft.


• Demonstrated strong work ethic with labor experience in the field.


• Able to work 50-60 hour work weeks.


• Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside


• Physically able to perform assigned tasks


• Must be able to lift 40 pounds independently

Preferred Requirements

• Degree in Occupational or Environmental Health and Safety is a plus


• Previous experience conducting safety training is a plus


• Local to Atlanta, GA metro Area
