Gale Hotels is seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dining team in Florida. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, suggest pairings, deliver meals, and ensure a memorable dining experience while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of server experience, excellent English (bilingual in Spanish preferred), flexibility to work weekends/evenings, and a customer-focused attitude.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Server or in a similar role.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Physical ability to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours.
• Friendly, responsible, and punctual.
• Customer focused and able to multi-task.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers upon arrival at the restaurant.
• Provide excellent customer service during their dining experience.
• Help patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining the chef’s specialties, and identifying appropriate pairings.
• Transmit orders to the bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices and noting special dietary needs and requests.
• Protect the establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Obtain revenue by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to host, and returning change or credit card slips to patrons.
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
• Clean tables and prepare space for future diners.
• Carry drinks and food from the kitchen or bar area to the tables.
• Memorize the food menu and wine list as well as any nightly specials.
• Set tables throughout the shift.
• Perform any other duties requested by Management.
