Zusammenfassung

Heifer International, a global nonprofit, seeks a Legal Drafting Senior Coordinator to draft, review, and improve contracts, grant agreements, and policies across jurisdictions. Under supervision of a licensed attorney, you will coordinate with local counsel and support negotiation and execution while applying approved templates and standards.

Fluent English and Spanish are required. You will collaborate with teams across the Americas, Africa, Europe, and Asia, delivering training on contracts

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree related to writing, business, and/or the legal field.
• Minimum 6-7 years of substantive experience in drafting, reviewing, and improving contracts and grant agreements.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish, including the ability to read, write, and discuss complex contractual and business matters in both languages.
• Admission to practice law is not required for this non-attorney position.

Aufgaben

• Drafting, reviewing, and improving various contracts, grant agreements, and transactional documents, under the direction and supervision of a licensed attorney.
• Coordinate with local counsel in countries where Heifer carries out its work.
• Prepare staff trainings on grant and contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Review and verify invoices and maintain legal templates.
