Top-Us in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Japanese bilingual Sr. Accountant to join our manufacturing finance team in Sunnyvale, CA. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, close processes, and tax documentation in a US environment.

You will manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, prepare cash flow reports, and support audits. Fluency in Japanese is required, and the candidate should have 8+ years in accounting/finance, advanced Excel/Word, and SAP S/4HANA experience

Qualifications

Japanese language proficiency required.
8+ years in accounting/finance roles.
Advanced Excel and Word skills.

Responsibilities

Prepares, examines, or analyzes accounting records including AP/AR related documents, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Handles monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting closing work.
Prepares cash flow reports, identifies and evaluates variances.
Maintains and supports cash management account and other bank accounts.
Liaises with parties involved in transactions and assists with negotiations as needed.
Prepares and maintains all tax documentation and related records that are in compliance with applicable US tax law.
Deals with quarterly reviews as well as year-end Financial audit.
Supports the calculation for final value of inventory at the end of the accounting period.
