Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably 1-2 years in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
• Ability to work accurately with large volumes of financial data under strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly cost of sales reports and closing entries.
• Review and maintain costing tables on a monthly basis.
• Assist in managing closing schedules and meeting reporting deadlines.
• Analyze actual vs. standard cost variances and provide insights to managers.
• Support budget forecasting and financial planning.
• Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical and financial data for special reports.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Maintain pricing discrepancy records for raw material vendors.
• Process raw material accounts payable, including intercompany transactions.
• Conduct cost studies and provide detailed cost insights.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Assist with physical inventory audits and reconciliation.
• Support SOX compliance and audit functions.
