Job summary

Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) Immokalee Community Academy in Immokalee, FL, is seeking a dedicated Social Worker for our K-8 charter school. This on-site role supports students, staff and families by providing referrals, assessments and collaborative services at the school site and in the community.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field, with three years’ experience in counseling or education for children, plus eligibility for FL DOE certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field.
• Minimum of three years of teaching, counseling, or experience with children similar in age.
• Hold a valid FL DOE certificate in Social Work or Counseling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct student support, referrals, assessments and reports at school site.
• Develop and maintain community partnerships to connect families with services.
• Support RTI/MTSS processes and 504 plan identification and follow-up paperwork.
• Conduct home visits as needed and collaborate with parents, teachers and staff.
