Job summary

RCMA Immokalee Community Academy in Immokalee, FL is seeking energetic Teacher Aide positions to support language, literacy, math, and social studies through approved curricula. The charter school serves primarily English Language Learners in a dual language setting (50:50 English/Spanish).

Two on-site positions require 60 college credits or Parapro, with 1–3 years of educational experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 60 college credit hours or Parapro test as required by Florida Statutes.
• 1-3 years’ experience in an educational environment.
• AA/AS degree required for higher level Aide.
• BA/BS degree preferred for higher level Aide.

Responsibilities

• Safeguards the health and safety of all scholars.
• Supports and collaborates with teachers to promote learning in language, literacy, math, social studies, science, arts and physical development.
• Assists scholars in developing cognitive, social, emotional, and psychomotor skills through daily instruction.
• Establishes rapport with scholars and parents; communicates progress to facilitate two-way communication.
• Supports classroom routines during After School time and enforces behavior standards.
• Maintains weekly/monthly paperwork related to School Readiness and assists during parent meetings.
• Participates in team resource sharing to improve scholars’ education and socio-emotional development.
