Alma del Mar Charter School in New Bedford, MA is seeking a Receptionist to be the friendly face at the front desk. You will warmly welcome families, manage sign-in logs for adults and students, and handle calls and messages for staff.

You will schedule meetings, support events, and adapt to a fast-paced environment with a calm, professional demeanor. The role is temporary, running from November 1 through May 20, and offers hourly pay between $20 and $24, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish required (read/write/speak).
• Proficient with email and digital calendars.
• Ability to solve problems independently and with others.
• Flexible and adaptable to new technologies and initiatives.
• Well organized and detail oriented.

Responsabilités

• Warmly welcome families at the front desk.
• Manage front desk sign-in logs for adults and scholars, including tardies and dismissals.
• Answer phone calls and take messages for staff.
• Schedule meetings between families and staff, including high-volume times.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of school events such as conferences and graduations.
• Maintain professional customer service during busy or stressful periods.
