EveryMind in Hyattsville, MD is seeking a bilingual School-Based Mental Health Therapist to support Bucklodge Middle School and Hyattsville Middle School. You will provide school-based services to students and families, collaborating with a behavioral health team.

The role requires Maryland licensure with LGPC/LMSW or higher, a Master’s in a mental health field, and bilingual Spanish; mostly on-site with occasional remote work and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health field with licensure in MD (LGPC/LMSW/LCPC/LCSW-C/LGMFT/LCMFT) required or in process.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Minimum 1 year post-licensure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive school-based mental health services to referred students and families.
• Lead or co-lead therapy groups and psychoeducational programs in school/community settings.
• Coordinate with school staff and families, ensuring assessment data and progress notes are documented.
• Maintain documentation in electronic health records and adhere to ethical and licensure guidelines.
