Job summary

ABM is seeking a Safety Technician to support safety initiatives on a semiconductor construction project. You will conduct field inspections, audits, and incident investigations while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and site safety policies.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of construction safety, strong communication in English and Spanish, and the ability to promote a proactive safety culture among field personnel. This is a full-time on-site position in Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in a construction safety environment.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support daily safety activities across the project site.
• Conduct routine site inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety compliance.
• Verify proper use of PPE and enforce site safety requirements.
• Perform safety audits and document findings.
• Support incident and near-miss investigations and help implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety orientation and onboarding for new employees.
• Track and report safety observations, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
