HotFoot Recruiters is seeking a proactive and safety-driven Bilingual Safety Specialist to support construction site safety and compliance for a growing semiconductor and construction operation in North Phoenix. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe work environment by conducting site inspections, supporting contractor safety management, coordinating safety training, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working directly in the field to support daily safety operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily construction site safety inspections and hazard identification walkthroughs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and project safety requirements.
• Lead daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings with field staff and subcontractors.
• Track and verify daily workforce attendance and site personnel counts.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training and health & safety education sessions for employees.
• Support contractor safety management, ensuring subcontractors follow site safety requirements.
• Prepare and submit required safety forms, permit applications, and compliance documentation.
• Maintain organized EHS documentation, reports, and safety records.
• Identify non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Assist with incident reporting, root cause investigations, and follow-up actions.
• Support additional safety initiatives and tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• OSHA 511 certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• 2–3 years of experience in EHS, construction safety, or industrial safety roles.
• Experience conducting site inspections, hazard identification, and safety documentation.
• Experience supporting contractor or subcontractor safety management preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin required to support multilingual teams.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and job-site compliance practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in field environments.
