Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a Home Study Evaluator to work with prospective foster, adoptive, kinship, and ICPC families throughout Colorado. In this contract/project-based role, you will conduct comprehensive home studies by meeting families in their homes, assessing readiness, and compiling detailed reports that support court decisions and child placement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Completion of 2-day SAFE Home Study Training with active certificate.
• Knowledge of Volume 7 regulations (training provided if needed).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SAFE home studies for eligible foster, adoptive, kinship, and ICPC families.
• Meet families in their homes to assess safety, stability, and preparedness.
• Gather and analyze family, environmental, and background information.
• Prepare detailed written reports with recommendations for court review.
• Ensure compliance with Volume 7 regulations and state requirements.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Communicate professionally with families, courts, and internal teams.
