Job summary

Global Edge Group is seeking a Robotics Engineer - Bilingual Chinese for an opportunity in the Oil & Gas industry. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing robotic automation systems used in energy equipment manufacturing.

You will develop robot programs, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in robotics or related field and 3–7 years of industrial robotics experience, with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
3 to 7 years of industrial robotics experience.
Experience with industrial robot programming, PLC integration, industrial networking, and manufacturing support.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Must be fluent in Chinese.

Responsibilities

Design, program, test, and commission industrial robotic systems.
Develop robot programs using FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman, or Universal Robots.
Configure EOAT, vision systems, sensors, and peripheral equipment.
Optimize robot cycle times and troubleshoot robotic systems.
Collaborate with Controls Engineers to integrate robots with PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, and safety systems.
Provide production support, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement; manage small-to-medium automation projects and coordinate suppliers.
