Job summary

The Westminster office houses initial training in Denver or Westminster, with a later hybrid work option.

The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, and bilingual Spanish preferred, with prior financial services or retirement plans experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for this role.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Experience in benefits, retirement plans, customer service, or contact center functions is desirable.
• Ability to explain complex retirement, benefits, and insurance information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member or beneficiary questions via telephone, email, or other methods.
• Identify caller needs, research issues, and offer options and solutions professionally.
• Explain Colorado PERA services and processes accurately.
• Follow policies, procedures, and applicable laws related to plan designs and benefits.
• Continuously develop knowledge of Colorado PERA and retirement industry; participate in training.
