Job summary

Kate Spade New York, part of the Tapestry family, is seeking a Retail Stylist in Elizabeth, NJ. You will greet guests, provide styling guidance, and create complete looks across handbags, ready-to-wear, and accessories.

You will drive sales through storytelling, maintain stockroom and POS accuracy, and encourage repeat visits while delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role requires strong communication, retail experience, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and peak times.

Qualifications

• Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Prior experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
• English proficiency + 1 additional language.
• Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule—including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days.
• Ability to lift at least 25lbs regularly (up to 50lbs occasionally).

Responsibilities

• Drive results through strong customer connections and storytelling.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of the brand and product attributes across all categories.
• Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
• Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner.
