Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Cornelius, NC is hiring a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and daily operations.

The role involves leading team members on customer service programs, handling in-store transfers and shipments, processing returns, managing opening/closing duties, and stepping in as acting manager when needed. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems knowledge is a plus; ASE Certification preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to deliver excellent customer service for retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure policy-compliant order processing.
• Manage telephone inquiries, transfers, and shipments in a timely manner.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, security, and cash handling per policy.
• Back-up shift management in absence of Store Manager.
