Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow the network with exceptional customer service in one of our retail stores. You will learn customer needs, recommend complete tech solutions, and close sales through strong communication.

You can also expand your base through outbound outreach and participate in community events at Verizon-sponsored activities. Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour in base pay, with individual commissions up to $16,000 annually, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts during busy periods.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community outside the store at Verizon-sponsored events.
