Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate in a worksite-based role. You will grow sales with customers in a Verizon store, uncover needs, present complete tech solutions, and close sales through strong communication.

You’ll participate in ongoing training and can expand your customer base through outbound outreach and event participation. Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour with potential to earn up to $18,000 yearly in commissions, plus top performers may reach

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to grow the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations for a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales with strong communication to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skilling in merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow customer base via outbound calls and texts to existing Verizon customers.
