Launch your career in energy sales with Reliant! 2020 Companies is looking for a bilingual, enthusiastic, and results-driven Energy Sales Specialist to represent and promote Reliant Energy services at retail. The role involves engaging with customers, bringing new enrollments, and helping customers find the right energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Promote Reliant electricity plans and help customers lower energy costs.
• Identify customer needs, handle objections, and build strong relationships with customers and teammates.
• Work collaboratively to hit goals and celebrate wins; no door-to-door, cold calling, or telemarketing.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers in a retail, kiosk, or event environment.
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis and meet established sales quotas.
• Assay customer needs and suggest products that fit those needs, building customer confidence.
• Accurately document and report sales, keep the workstation/kiosk clean, well-organized, and presentable.
• Submit all required paperwork accurately and communicate all activity to Retail Operations.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak).
• Strong experience in retail/event sales or event marketing and a proven track record of sales achievement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, setup, and teardown of events.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to event locations.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 6 months of prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction, ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Earn $1,000–$1,350 per week on average with base pay and uncapped commission.
• Commission-based pay with a $14.00 per hour guarantee.
