Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in New Jersey is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to support store operations, assist customers in person and over the phone, and help with tinting and product recommendations.

You will stock shelves, set up displays, and ensure accurate transactions while building relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Bilingual Spanish/English is valued, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required or highly preferred.
• Ability to assist customers and determine needs in person or by phone.
• Must be able to perform color matching or tinting when required.
• Proficient with computers and basic phone communication.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Support sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams store, serving wholesale and retail customers.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services.
• Ensure sales transactions are accurate, maintain work order files and formulas, tint and mix products to specification.
• Stock shelves, set up displays, clean store equipment and load/unload delivery trucks.
