Point Quest Group seeks a Bilingual Resource Specialist Teacher in Pacoima, CA. The role focuses on leading a special education classroom, developing and implementing IEPs, and supporting students with diverse needs.

You will manage PBIS, supervise paraprofessionals, and collaborate with families to foster academic and social growth. A credential and DOJ/FBI clearance are required, with strong organizational skills and experience in IEP documentation expected.

Qualifications

• State Specific Department of Education Certification required.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance as applicable by state.
• Experience in implementing IEPs and PBIS processes.
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with IEP documentation systems (e.g., IEPpro).

Responsibilities

• Lead a special education classroom focusing on students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs aligned to goals and state standards.
• Manage classroom behavior with PBIS and monitor progress.
