Basic Function:

Under the direction of the Residential Director, develop, plan, and oversee the administration and clinical operations of the Spanish residential treatment unit. Supervise a skilled direct services team and serve as a liaison with program director, community agencies, doctors, and therapists.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring activities align with Catholic Charities' mission, vision, and values
• Providing weekly supervision to licensed clinicians for clinical discussions
• Acting as a link between Spanish-speaking clients, psychiatrists, and social workers/therapists
• Working directly with Spanish-speaking clients when needed
• Modeling solid clinical interventions for staff
• Planning and coordinating program activities, developing guidelines, reviewing results, and recommending policies
• Managing treatment units using Evidence-Based Practice models
• Supervising report and record preparation
• Participating in or leading the hiring of direct service staff
• Supervising residential treatment staff, ensuring policies are followed, and handling personnel issues
• Implementing staff training and discipline as needed
• Approving staff timesheets promptly
• Conducting annual staff performance evaluations
• Writing, revising, and advocating for ASAMs to obtain treatment authorization
• Working in men’s or women’s residential programs
• Maintaining contacts with peers and agencies for planning and client care
• Working flexible hours, including evenings, and being accessible for crisis situations
• Performing other duties as required

Requirements:

• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong communication skills
• Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or related field
• Licensure such as LISW-S, LPCC-S, or LICDC-CS
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to relate well with clients, professionals, and community members
• Strong assessment, treatment, and case management skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with diverse populations and community organizations
• Proficiency with computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records
• Valid Ohio Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Background check including fingerprinting required
