Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Bilingual Research Technician I to support a health-focused lifestyle intervention across multiple states. The role involves day-to-day logistics, screening, enrollment, data collection and data management in REDCap, CTMS, and IRB documentation. Evening/weekend hours may be required.

The position requires Spanish language proficiency in addition to English and offers hands-on experience in a dynamic research lab under Dr. Heather Greenlee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related scientific field or equivalent education/experience.
• Demonstrated scientific knowledge in the area of study.
• Demonstrated basic laboratory skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen, consent, enroll participants and collect data for the study.
• Engage in community outreach and recruitment via phone/in-person events.
• Verify data accuracy; track discrepancies with the research team.
• Handle, transfer and track biological specimens.
• Prepare, send and track participant and data collection materials.
