Job summary

University of Washington's Department of Bioethics and Humanities seeks a part-time Research Coordinator 2 to oversee a multi-year qualitative study on care work experiences in the United States. This 50% FTE role reports to LaTonya Trotter and partners with the UW team to manage recruitment, data collection, and analysis remotely within UW policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and two years of relevant experience.
• Two years of experience coordinating research projects or other complex projects.
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while working closely with a team.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow research protocols and data-management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Coordinate day-to-day operations with the PI and team; manage meetings, timelines, and documentation.
• Recruitment and Data Collection: Develop recruitment activities for interviews; coordinate Spanish-language recruitment and translation.
• Research Staff Supervision and Coordination: Supervise research assistants and project staff; set priorities and workflows.
• Data Management, Analysis, and Research Support: Implement data-management procedures; support qualitative analysis and material preparation.
