Brown University seeks a Bilingual Research Assistant to support a physical activity study. You will recruit participants, schedule visits, collect data, translate materials, and manage payments, working onsite in Rhode Island. Evening and Saturday hours are required, with travel to community sites.

This fixed-term role ends 7/31/27 with potential extension based on funding. Strong English/Spanish proficiency, reliable transportation, and experience in community settings are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, public health preferred and 1–2 years of experience or equivalent
• Must have reliable transportation to research and community sites and be available to work substantial evening hours and regularly scheduled Saturday hours
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience working in the community setting is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, motivated and self-starting
• Knowledge of research methodology and health program planning, implementation, and evaluation preferred
• Experience in online surveys (e.g., Qualtrics) is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities, maintain accurate records, and complete time-sensitive tasks with limited supervision
