Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA is seeking a Bilingual Research Technician I to support a health-focused study testing lifestyle, behavioral, and nutritional education interventions for cancer survivors.

You will screen, enroll, collect data, manage REDCap and CTMS, assist with protocol documents, and coordinate with study teams. Spanish language proficiency is required alongside English; evening and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related scientific field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated scientific knowledge in the area of study.
• Demonstrated basic laboratory skills.
• Spanish language proficiency required in addition to English.

Responsibilities

• Perform participant screening, enrollment, data collection and data entry for study progress.
• Engage in community outreach and recruitment via phone and in-person events.
• Verify data connections and resolve discrepancies with the team.
• Handle, transfer, and track biological specimens.
• Schedule study appointments and meetings with providers and study teams.
• Maintain inventory of study supplies and assist with onboarding interns.
