The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a part-time Research Project Coordinator to support a K01-funded study developing a web-based PrEP decision aid for young Black and Latino MSM and their providers. The role includes recruitment, qualitative interviews in English and Spanish, and overall study administration.

Responsibilities include monitoring study tasks, managing participant payments and materials, ensuring IRB/GCP compliance, and helping revise procedures.

Competenze

• BA/BS in the Social Sciences, Public Health, Psychology or Behavioral Health Fields, and/or equivalent in relevant Education and/or Training
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
• At least 2 years of experience conducting structured, in-person interviews covering complex and sensitive health issues
• 1 year working knowledge of GCP guidelines including protection of human subjects and related regulatory requirements
• 1 year experience with Windows environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SPSS
• 1 year writing, editing and proofreading skills for scientific publications

Mansioni

• Recruit, screen, and enroll research participants and conduct qualitative interviews in English and Spanish
• Support study personnel in monitoring assignments
• Manage financial aspects including subject payments and materials
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and IRB guidelines
• Communicate issues and solutions to the Principal Investigator
• Revise and maintain research SOPs throughout the study
• Provide administrative support including drafting documents and supervising staff
