Job summary

UTHealth Houston seeks a Research Coordinator I for the SNAK Trial to support recruitment, enrollment, and retention of participants, and to coordinate data collection across multiple sites. You will work with the PI and study team to manage data, surveys, and follow-up activities, ensuring protocol adherence and timely reporting.

The role requires strong organizational skills, ability to interact with families in hospital settings, and proficiency with survey tools (REDCap).

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (speaking and writing).
• Experience administering and distributing surveys with REDCap.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families in healthcare settings.
• Experience extracting data from medical records and transferring to data collection forms/databases.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and UTHealth/research policies.
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and human subjects regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with participant recruitment, enrollment, and retention; data collection and management.
• Coordinate data entry, cleaning, and analysis under supervision.
• Maintain confidential research records and regulatory compliance.
