Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to determine donor eligibility and support plasma center operations in Las Vegas. You will review lab results, manage donor safety, and communicate outcomes under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: RN, NP or PA.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Fulfill FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility: informed consent, medical history, physical examination, SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues or donor safety.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with EHS for investigations; act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
