Accurate ABA is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Maryland to work under a BCBA and implement ABA programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and related needs. The role emphasizes data collection, client progress, and collaboration with families and the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 40-hour ABA training, RBT certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Completion of a 40-hour ABA training course and competency assessment.
• Current RBT certification (BACB).
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and collaborate with a team.

Aufgaben

• Implement ABA programs and BIPs designed by the BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy in homes, schools, clinics, and community settings.
• Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment goals based on assessments.
• Implement behavior reduction strategies to promote positive change.
• Provide feedback to the BCBA about progress and observations.
• Maintain client confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
• Participate in supervision sessions to review progress and adjust strategies.
