Job summary

Accurate ABA in Baltimore, MD is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work under a BCBA to implement ABA programs for individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges.

You will provide one-on-one therapy in homes, schools, clinics, and community settings, collect data, and help develop goals while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with families and professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Completion of a 40-hour training course in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and competency assessment.
• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) issued by the BACB.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations.
• Part-time availability.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA to address target behaviors and skill deficits.
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients in homes, schools, clinics, and community settings.
• Collect accurate and reliable data on client progress and behavior using specified data collection methods.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment goals and objectives based on client needs and assessment findings.
• Implement behavior reduction procedures and strategies to decrease challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior change.
• Provide ongoing feedback to the BCBA regarding client progress, concerns, and observations during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
• Participate in regular supervision sessions with the BCBA to review client progress, discuss treatment strategies, and receive feedback.
