Job summary

Better Health Group in Florida is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish/English) to support clinical and front-desk tasks across multiple clinics. The role involves preparing patients, assisting physicians, recording vitals, and maintaining EMR documentation.

The position requires at least 1 year of MA experience, accredited MA training (RMA/CMA) preferred, and CPR certification is a plus. Travel within the region (about 85%) and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).
• Completion of Accredited Medical Assistant program preferred (RMA or CMA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• CPR certification preferred.
• IV Start Certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical coding preferred.
• HIPAA/ OSHA knowledge preferred.
• Proficient with electronic medical records and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for provider examination and record vital signs in EMR.
• Assist provider with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Maintain complete patient records electronically.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and triage calls.
• Explain treatments, medications, and provider instructions to patients.
• Travel within region up to 85% of the time.
