Job summary

WORKFORCE BROKERS is seeking a bilingual recruiter to support client hiring from intake through candidate placement. This onsite role in Elk Grove, IL focuses on understanding client needs, sourcing and screening talent, and coordinating key steps so candidates move through the process efficiently and in line with employment requirements.

As a Bilingual Recruiter, you will assess client needs to build a recruitment plan, help create and review applications, and conduct initial screening phone

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent, or bachelor’s degree.
• Recruiting experience in a goal-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong relationship building and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of social media, job boards, and outlets to promote opportunities and find experienced applicants.
• Proficiency with MS Office, email, and Excel.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish and English.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to shift priorities and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced work culture.

Responsibilities

• Assess the client’s needs to create a recruitment plan
• Assist with creating and reviewing applications
• Conduct phone interviews for initial screening
• Perform applicant assessment
• Coordinate background checks
• Order drug tests
• Update and maintain the database with new job openings as they become available
• Conduct business professionally and ethically to serve customers and support company goodwill and profit
• Source candidates through direct channels, network groups, internet sourcing, email, blogs, talent mapping, and relationship building
• Build talent pipelines and continuously foster candidate relationships to support the candidate experience
• Ensure screening, hiring, and selection follow employment laws and regulations
• Provide candidate follow-up and updates on hiring status
