Casa Esperanza, Inc. in Boston is hiring for a Security/House Attendant who ensures program safety and supports daily operations. You will monitor alarms, conduct rounds, manage the front desk, and assist with crisis intervention and medication monitoring. Bilingual English/Spanish required; shifts are awake.

The role involves coordinating client activities, signing in/out, and working with Case Managers and Nursing staff. Compensation is $21.00/hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• LADC II or LADC III preferred.
• Knowledge of the addiction recovery process, or willingness to acquire it within six months.
• First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Overdose prevention training and ServSafe certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of the program environment, including doors, windows, alarms, and patrols.
• Record and report safety concerns to authorities and staff.
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed; conduct groups.
• Attend mandatory safety, security trainings and all agency meetings.
• Coordinate client activities and refer to staff for support; monitor medications.
• Maintain logs for medication administration and client property; conduct rounds every two hours.
• Manage client sign-in/out, bed availability outreach, intake packets, and discharge paperwork.
• Escort clients during Fresh Air breaks and meal times; assist Case Managers and Nursing staff.
