The Michaels Organization is seeking a Recertification Specialist to qualify new residents and requalify existing residents for occupancy in a residential leasing office. The role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multi-task within deadlines while coordinating with maintenance and compliance teams.

Qualifications include 1+ year of residential real estate management experience; bilingual English/Spanish; high school diploma or equivalent, with two years of college

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints and maintain accuracy.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced leasing office.

Responsabilités

• Maintain property waiting list.
• Conduct applicant interviews and determine eligibility.
• Coordinate on-site data collection and processing of resident information.
• Schedule resident recertification interviews.
• Ensure correct calculation of income, assets and rent levels.
• Obtain Compliance Department approval for new move-ins and selected recertifications.
• Work with maintenance staff for timely move-ins/outs.
• Coordinate apartment inspections for recertifications.
• Maintain resident files per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist office staff with tasks including social media marketing.
• Perform other duties as needed.
