Job description

The Receptionist supports the strategic business objectives by ensuring customers and office personnel receive best-in-class service. This position requires a professional appearance and attitude.

Pay :

$13-14 / hr (depending on experience)

Responsibilities :
  1. Greet on-site visitors, determine the nature of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  2. Answer incoming telephone calls using the switchboard, determine the purpose of each call, and forward to the appropriate personnel or department.
  3. Retrieve messages from voicemail.
  4. Maintain security by following procedures for opening and closing the front office, monitoring the logbook, and observing who enters and leaves the building.
  5. Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of mail by receiving, sorting, and forwarding mail to the office.
  6. Keep stock of and order office supplies as needed.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Required Skills :
  1. Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas.
  2. Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  3. Interpersonal skills to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team, depending on the situation.
  4. Maintain a high level of professionalism with a wide range of customers and personnel.
Required Experience :
  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in clerical or administrative work.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
