Job summary

AIDS Healthcare Foundation seeks a Dental Assistant to support high-quality, patient-centered oral care and a positive patient experience. Under the Dental Director, you will assist clinically and operationally to keep care safe, timely, and compliant.

As part of a collaborative team, you will coordinate patient flow, prepare operatories, provide chairside assistance, and uphold infection control, charting, and equipment readiness while educating and comforting patients.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dental Assistant in Texas.
• Minimum one year experience preferred.
• Radiology certification required.
• Spanish-speaking bilingual required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with dental software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and scheduling to support access and continuity of care.
• Prepare patients and operatories for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Perform radiographic and adjunctive duties per licensure.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support inventory and equipment readiness.
• Assist with verification of patient eligibility through established systems.
