Job summary

Brighter Strides ABA, LLC in New Mexico is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges.

Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is required. RBT certification is mandatory, with experience with developmental disabilities preferred. The role includes documentation, HIPAA compliance, ADL support, and family education.

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to support a Spanish-speaking client.
• RBT certification is required.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with care plans, medical documentation, and medical terminology is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to educate clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Monitor and document client progress in accordance with care plans.
• Utilize medical terminology appropriately when communicating with team members.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
• Provide patient care by assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
• Educate clients and families about behavioral health concepts and strategies for improvement.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation of client interactions and progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
