Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a dedicated Packer to join our manufacturing team in Hanover, PA. You will inspect and pack quality products into boxes, cartons, and containers, while contributing to a safe, efficient packing station.

The role requires standing 100% of the time and lifting up to 50 lbs, with opportunities to learn packaging equipment and sanitation processes. Our full-time team enjoys medical, dental, vision, 401k, profit sharing, and stock purchase plans, among other benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Fluent in English or Spanish.
• Must be able to stand 100% of the time.
• Ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Trained to operate packer-related equipment and hand jack.

Responsibilities

• Inspect packaged items and alert supervisor of changes.
• Pack quality products into boxes and cartons.
• Scan finished product into inventory with scanning equipment.
• Set up mats and cartons before production begins.
• Maintain packing area and perform sanitation duties as assigned.
• Assist with breaks and stocking in packing area.
